Table Quiz

A great night was had at the PA’s annual quiz night in Howth Yacht Club on 5th February!

Volunteers needed!

The school needs volunteers to help with the set up for the violin lessons on Monday mornings at 8.35am until about 9.15am. In addition volunteers are needed to be standbys to stay until 12.15 to help with the class when Rebecca or Olive can’t stay. It’s great fun and there’s a break in-between. Even if you can only help occasionally , many hands make light work! If we have enough volunteers, then we don’t have to ask the same people each week.  Many thanks to Olive Smith, Rebecca Blomfield and Finn Elmore who constantly help! Please contact Ms Harris if you can join the team.

Unwanted Gifts?

We are planning ahead! Did you receive a bottle of wine that you won’t drink, or a bottle of perfume or aftershave that you don’t like? Did the kids receive a duplicate toy or would you like to start spring cleaning some of the children’s toys and books? Clear the clutter and we will store them for the next Christmas Fair. Please drop them off at the halla on Friday 30 January. Thanks! (no broken or incomplete items please)

Christmas Fair 2014

€7,710 is the amount raised in funds for the school at our recent Christmas Fair, which is an absolutely magic result!  This is being used towards lessons for tin whistle and violin, along with a violin storage unit, swimming lessons and transport, orienteering coaching and transport.   Huge thanks to Lynn Bray who did an amazing job of coordinating the whole day.

Thank you for all your help in making the day such a success for the school and so enjoyable for everyone who visited.  Whether you decluttered and donated, baked a cake, sorted through donations, made crafts, manned a stall, decorated the hall or whatever way you helped – thank you – you made the Christmas Fair.

Back to the Back Fundraiser

The Back to the Back 80s night raised a fantastic €2,200 for each of the three schools involved. This money has been used to pay for a variety of items including the purchase of a much-needed barbeque.
